Portrait # 6

She may be only one among the 20 million people who call Bombay home, but that doesn't take away from her individuality. She is 'She'.

I quite agree Rayna, I read the following qoutation on someone's blog and it has stayed in my mind.

"Remember always you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one.

Love the photo. You're a good photographer. My husband is also one and my favorite photos he does are ones like this, catching a slice of life.

Colorful photo!

And is your "Stopped by for a Coffee" accurate? I've really commented the most?

Love the colors! I always anticipate the days when you post pictures of Bombay. I have never been to India and your photos give me a glimpse into life there. Thanks so much for sharing a little bit of yourself and your background with these pics. :D

I agree the photo is great. The colors just jump out at you. The portrait of the woman shows the character in her face. Nicely said and photographed.

She really is, isn't she? I love your eye for catching these things.

Thank you all. Strangely, I was not even trying to take a picture of the lady. It was the stall that I liked, and which I tried to photograph, but her intense eyes drew me in, and I had to crop out the rest.
Wonder what stories she could tell if anyone cares to ask her and if she has the time to tell.

Yvonne,lovely quote that.
