January 1, 2013.
The First Day of a Brand New Year.
MMXII has now taken its place in History. The much-hyped Apocalypse
never materialized. Despite our best efforts, we weren’t able to wipe each
other out. The year will be remembered for a lot that is better forgotten. Tragedies
that could have been avoided, anguish that need not have been. That book has
now been closed; a new one opened.
In MMXIII, I hope we remember the lessons that we so painfully
learnt learnt last year. And that we work together to make the World a Better
Place for All.
