Night Scenes

Streets look quite different at night!

Had this picture of the fruit vendor been taken during the day, would it have looked as magical?

And would these fruit look quite as edible?

This pictures are lovely. My daughter and I had a very dear friend from India who lived with us for a while. Gurdeep Singh. He did acupressure on my daughter's spastic limbs. Nothing changed much, except there was light that sparked between us. We don't understand yet why some people suffer more than others. "Will anything change for her, can it?" Sometimes we just don't know. We just try to do all we can.

It is a very beautiful picture. Even things that seem dark can be illumintaed.

That's cool. What's the fruit in the back?

Very yellow. I see papaya and pineapple. What's the one in front? I love fruit venders. I often buy from them down here...of course here, they put chili on everything.

Good point on setting the mood! This one is definitely magical, but with a few small changes it could seem ominous, too.

Great photos and yes - I find lighting is so important when setting the right mood :)

So cool! And I love reading everyone's comments! I was impressed by the photos but didn't initially connect it to writing. Thanks for that!

@ Ann - I have given up trying to make sense of what happened and why. Things seem so very random don't they? And why so much suffereing is heaped on one person, again, I just can't understand

@ Debra - it does seem almost brightly lit, doesn't it?

@ KarenG - thank you. And a very common street scene in India.

@ Yvonne - the magic would be missing if there was real light.

@ Jessica - Pineapple (peeled and unpeeled) and papaya

@ SueAnn - they do, don't they?

@ Alex - papayas

@ Clarissa - the one in front is peeled pineapple. Here, they put rock salt and chillie on fruits- which is nice, but I prefer without

@ Elizabeth - I can almsot hear the music change!!!! You were right in that post of many weeks back - creating mood is so much easier on a video

@ Jemi - setting the right mood is tough, isn't it?

@ Tina - to be honest, I didn't connect it to writing either- it is these awesome writers who did.
