Evidence you cannot ignore

In a country where if you cry for help, your rapist's wife can accuse you of adultery and have you stoned to death. In a country where the testimony of a male witness is needed before a case of rape can be registered. In a country like that, what can a woman do except cut off her rapist's body part and submit it as evidence. And you have to admire a woman who does just that.

I don't condone taking the law into your own hands. But when the system is stacked against you, how else do you get justice?

_____
drabble is a story told in exactly 100 words.

When I read that particular piece of news. I cheered.

Natasha - How very sad that the system is set up so that there is no other choice but to take extreme methods to get any justice...

Well, if that works, he deserves it.

Big applause for her! One of my hot buttons is women caught in male-dominated traps. When the women's movement was getting started here, few paid attention to spouse abuse. So, this woman tied up her husband (after he'd had his drunken) way and beat him up.

I don't normally condone violence to achieve justice - but - there are times when a gal's gotta do what a gal's gotta do.

I don't know whether to cheer or to cry for her!!
Sad she is driven to such an act. But it is horrific that she had to suffer the brutal and obscene attack!!
I pray women are given an equal voice and position in every country.

My mom would have cheered the woman. So sad she had to do it alone.
