On the food habits of pandas

"You know, Mamma, yesterday I saw a panda eating noodles,"
"Oh really?"
"Yes. He was putting the noodles in his mouth with a fork. And some of the noodle was falling down, and he was pushing it in with his hand. And his mother was saying, 'why are you doing this? Don't you know there are millions of germs in your hand', and the panda said,..."
"Hang on, are you sure you saw the panda eating noodles?"
"Yes, the panda was hungry because it doesn't have bamboo, so it started eating noodles."

Life is relatively uncomplicated when you are five!

_____
A drabble is a story told in exactly 100 words.

Rayna - I love the creativity of children's minds! I really do. It's that ability to imagine just about anything - even things that aren't logical - that make their thinking so appealing.

I mean what else are the Pandas supposed to eat if there is a shortage of bamboo? So makes sense to me!! Smart boy and very caring. He is worried about them!

Really weird but I was just talking to my teenage daughter about how uncomplicated her life was ten years ago.

Po from Kung Fu Panda ate noodles. Remember, he even had the "noodle dream!"

Sometimes I wish my kids were little again... only sometimes (like when you remind me of these cute stories). And thanks for letting me know how to edit my photographs! as you will see... nearly all my photographs now have my "signature"!

@ Margot - kids are amazing, aren't they? They show you what the mind is capable of if it is not aware of limits.

@ Fiona - thank you.

@ Carolyn - yes, that lesson seems to have embedded itself where it should! And Lucky Panda restaurant- possible, but where?

@ Jane - I am glad I could share the smiles. I know I have been smiling a lot just thinking about it.

@ SueAnn- they are sensible pandas, aren't they?

@ Leigh- yes, I adore them too.

@ Diane - now I know that. Then, I was not sure.

@ Debra - the other day, my kids asked for worm rice when they meant noodles- I am not sure I like them as much now.

@ Susan - it was, wasn't it?

@ Alex - I didn't know that. And I haven't seen the movie. Maybe they saw a trailer or someting?

@ Jemi - what a delightful age!

@ Oddyoddyo13 - wouldn't it be awesome if we could get that wonder back?

@ Holly - every problem has a solution for them- and a simple one at that.

@ Danette - maybe it is not too late to start compelling story collections. And my pleasure.

@ KarenG - now that is an idea.

@ dipali - thank you.

@ Dorte - aren't they all?
