Q is for ..... Quarrel

This is a work of fiction and forms a part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. I will attempt to write a new story based on the word for the day every day during the month of April.

In her decades-long friendship with Queenie, there were two distinct phases- BQ and AQ.
They had met on the first day of kindergarten, and remained inseparable all the way through high school. When they had..... The Quarrel. Why they fought, she no longer could longer remember, but for an entire semester, they tried to pretend the other didn’t exist. And then they made up- a mutual acknowledgement that neither could do without the other.
After Quarrel, things were different. They valued each other more. Sometimes, it takes a Quarrel to find out exactly how much a relationship means to you.

______

A Drabble is a story told in exactly 100 words.

A good illustration of a common occurrence. I've seen many instances where people were distanced by something they no longer even remember.

Natasha - No doubt about that! When a relationship is threatened, we really see how important it is to us...
