O is for ..... One

This is a work of fiction and forms a part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. I will attempt to write a new story based on the word for the day every day during the month of April.

“I agree with your Cause, but I really don’t have time to attend protest meetings”, Olga insisted.
“Come for some time at least.”
“If there are really so many of you, why do you need me?”
“Because if everyone thought like you, there would be no one” her friend explained. “If you just can’t make it, that’s okay. But do your best will you?”

Her work got over early that day, and Olga decided to join the protest meeting. She was glad she did. Yes, she was just one individual. But together they were One, and they would be heard.
