Such bright beautiful colors in the photo. I can't sew except to put a button on, but I could see myself buying the lace "just to have" in case I ever started sewing. :)
With women shoppers, who knows? My wife buys stuff for apparantly no rhyme or reason. She tells me she has a plan. But I wonder. Anyway, it doesn't matter. If it makes her happy, then I'm happy.
@ Diane - India is a very very colourful country- a place you should visit at least once in a lifetime.
@ Dipali - thanks
@ Karen - thank you for dropping by. Your posts are always an inspiration for me. And yes, the one thing that strikes you about India, perhaps even before the heat, is the abundance of colour.
@ Mason - how did you guess that I often do right that. I've used lace like this to tie up my climbing plants- people think it is a waste of lace, but I see my plants everyday, so it makes perfect sense to me.
@ Stephen - that is a point. And she does perhaps have a plan - she just doesn't know how to articulate it. My mother's like her - she'd buy the lace because it is pretty, then buy five meters of silk fabric to use the lace!

I am sure whatever she uses the lace for it will be beautiful.
