Friends

When you remember laughing, but just can't remember what made you laugh.
When you know you chatted non stop, but have no idea about what.
When you know you passed opinions, but are not sure which was who's.
When you revel in your differences, because of how similar you are.
When you don't discuss the things that bug you, because there is no reason to.
When you remember how happy everyone looked, but not what they wore.
When you had a great time, and can't wait for the next,
You know the people you had lunch with are real friends.

Rayna - You've described friendship so very well here! I love the way you mention that good friends don't focus on what irritates them, and they cherish each other's differences. I think that one mark of a real friend.

I love that drabble! I have a best friend I met freshman year in highschool. Over 30 years later, we're still best friends.

Beautiful post . . . I miss my friends.

You should write friendship cards because that was perfect. Oh, e-cards with one of your beautiful photos.

@ Alex- thanks

@ Mason- they do, don't they? Friends are much better than family, I think.

@ Margot- absolutely. With some people you are alway conscious of the differences- they are not likely to be the people you call a friend.

@ Teresa- one of the best things ways to spend a few hours, isn;t it?

@ Tina- and I am doubly blessed, because I found these friends totally by accident only very recently

@ Mary- isn't that incredible!

@ Dyche Designs- thank you, and thanks for stopping by.

@ Clarissa- now that is a thought. But am I sappy enough? When I try, I end up sounding sarcastic.

@ Ann- thank you.

@ Leigh- I am quite in love with that photograph.

@ Pamela - thank you.
