Sandy never really had time for other girls. No, she didn’t
have anything against girls- it is just that she never seemed to have anything
in common with them. Sandy was what was called ‘a nerd’- the girls she knew
were not. They loved romantic novels, she liked science fiction, and never the
twain did meet.
And then she grew up, and found she had a lot in common with
other women. Their journey had been different but the destination was the same.
She found that when she really needed support, it was her “sisters”
she could always count on.

Natasha - That's the thing about our friends isn't it? They may have had different experiences but in the end, they are part of our support system. Beautifully done!
Wonderfully written, wish I could write like this,
Yvonne.
I enjoyed today's "drabble"!

I love this drabble and I love the photo - my dear sister Natasha!
Hi, Natasha,
I have a friend like that. In childhood she always did what all the boys were doing, but in adulthood, she's much the same as any other woman.
