This is a work of fiction and forms a part of the Blogging from A to Z Challenge. I will attempt to write a new story based on the word for the day every day during the month of April.
Gina is a lovely gal. She’s smart, she’s funny, she’s there when you need her. I love Gina. But a teeny part of me hates her. Because you see, Gina is glamorous. No matter how lovely your outfit, and how perfect your make-up, Gina makes you feel dowdy.
Today, I wore a couture summer dress to lunch. Gina turned up in faded jeans, with her hair pulled into a ponytail. She looked glamourous as ever.
Glamour, I finally realized, has little do with what you wear, and everything to do with how you feel about yourself. Gina was born Glamourous.

Absolutely true! Glamour has nothing to do with your exterior appearance...its the way you feel inside, its an attitude. Nice story!

So that's where I'm going wrong! I'd love to be glamorous but no matter how hard I try I never quite manage to pull it off.

Natasha - Oh, this is so true! It's all about your own self-perception and your own self-respect. And even the most expensive clothes can't make up for a poor self-image.
