On Bucket-lists

I really must put this on my list of places to visit, I told my Mom after she sent me photographs of tulip fields in bloom. Like many others, I have a list of things to do... someday. Things that are doable, only not now.

But completing a full marathon was never on the list, because till I started running, even 10k seemed impossible.
Sitting in an un-electrified hut, eating freshly harvested peanuts and gossiping with villagers was never on it, because who even thought about such things?

Bucket-lists are great. But it's better still to let Life surprise you.
_____
drabble is a story told in exactly 100 words.

Last year's B post - B for Burrow.

    I don't have a bucket list. I just like life :)

  3. Natasha - John Lennon said it best: Life is just what happens to you when you're busy doing other things. I've got a bucket list, too, but in the meantime, why not enjoy what life brings...

  7. The bucket list just keeps growing as we learn to appreciate new experiences in life, I think. And perhaps one or two are dropped as we grow older and wiser...

  20. Just stopping by for the A-Z challenge - Great post! I love the title "Coffee rings everywhere," that's why I clicked.
I love bucket lists! So many buckets out there I want to collect before I go. (It's a funnier joke when Tracy Morgan delivers it.)
Best of luck, and I look forward to more!
