Buke anyone?

Sighted in an upmarket Bombay suburb-

From the context, I presume 'buke' means bouquet.

  1. Okay, I NEVER would have gotten that one. Ever. No way. *shakes head* Now you need to find a good definition for it and tell me before Thursday. *snort* ;-)

  6. My Dad and I have a little game of taking pictures of signs that make one go, "Huh?" or whose misspelling results in a completely different meaning. I'm adding this to our collection :-)

  8. Buke is too close to puke. They should have gone in a different direction or maybe a different spelling.

    Nice photo!

  9. I’m glad you translated! But now that I know, it does seem like a logical way to spell bouquet.

  14. If you think about it, bouquet does phonetically spell out as buke!

And car decorations? That can be next Saturday's photograph.
